Friday 8/4/23 Tailgater's Meadow 4:15PM - 6:15PM
This reservation pays for two hours of time in the Two Pony Tailgater's Meadow, one vehicle and however many human people can fit in that one vehicle.
Our reservation fees are not meant to be cost prohibitive, this compensation is what allows us to share this land with you. Two Pony People are first and foremost stewards of this earthy place, we appreciate you supporting us in our mission to support the ecosystem, of which we are all a part. Land conservation and regenerative management practices and fair wages for the humans doing the work; these are our highest values and the greatest asset to the community we feel we can provide. Thanks for being with us on this journey for the past two or so decades. This End of an Era Season is bittersweet and we can not wait to celebrate it with you, our Two Pony People!

Our pizza crusts are made with fresh, small batch, dough that features Sunrise Mill Heritage Flour and is hand mixed within a few hours of hitting the outdoor oven. These pies are 12 inches and feature toppings from Two Pony Gardens and if we run out we have great relationships with a few other small, local, organic farms.
YOUR PICNIC SPOT :
When you arrive at Tailgater’s Meadow, get the lay o-the-land. Pick the spot that suits your crew and set up there! Easy as pie! Please enjoy all gardens and friends who are growing with your eyes only, no picking please. Leave no trace, leave things better than you found them.
Word of caution that your group should do a quick study on identifying poison ivy, as it likes the kind of places that human people like. Shady spots under trees! So just beware and know that things like socks with tennis shoes or high boots, tucking pants into socks are all good advice to avoid contact with itchy plants and to avoid ticks. Being outside is amazing and does the body unparalleled good but preparation and preparedness will help your group to have the best time possible.
WHAT TO BRING :
Beverages, side dishes, small yard games, bug spray, sunscreen, water, lawn chairs, picnic blankets, anything you'll want to enjoy a few hours of fun outside! Plus, a bag to contain your waste, we are a LEAVE NO TRACE FARM, meaning you are required to pack out all of your waste and trash at the end of your picnic.
WHAT NOT TO BRING :
Not more than ONE VEHICLE. No pets, toys that resemble guns, fireworks, snacks with micro-plastic packaging that will inevitably end up on the ground, etc.
*A note about little ones! It is crucial that parents, guardians, any adult who is responsible for children on the farm must have eyes on their young ones at all times. This is a working farm, full of animals, equipment, poison ivy. Dangerous situations can arise at any time, especially if close attention is not paid. We love kids and we do go out of our way to add to their experience at Two Pony Gardens but our staff is not responsible for your kiddos.*
This is a Farm but it is also a home and fortunately for us, Lisa Ringer generously shares it with us. In order to show appreciation we ask that you respect some boundaries. No visitors on-site before scheduled reservations or without communication, no visitors inside the Farm House (there is a port-a-potty on-site) and please stay on pathways when in the woods and in the gardens. It is NEVER ok to pick wild plants or anything from the gardens without permission. This area surrounding Two Pony Gardens is called Wolsfeld and it is a Scientific and Natural Area, foraging there is not allowed. We all need to respect the conservation work being done by minimally impacting the land.
We want to make sure that you have a great time, that you fill up on pizza while taking care of the natural environment. Stewarding this land is our greatest gift, our greatest responsibility and we thank you for sharing in this work with us. Thank you for supporting our little farm!
There is no guarantee that we will be able to add pizzas to your order on the day of the event! (And if we can, they will be at a premium price.)
We only refund tickets/reservation fees if the weather at Two Pony ends up being unsafe! Think and heavy winds.
We can't offer rain dates but full refunds will be given if weather forces a cancellation on our end. OUR POLICY PROHIBITS REFUNDS FOR DOUBLE BOOKING, FAMILY COMPLICATIONS, CHANGES IN KIDS SPORTS SCHEDULES, ETC. Small farms run on extremely small margins. Please be really sure when you purchase, refunds are very rarely appropriate.
