This reservation pays for two hours of time in the Two Pony Tailgater's Meadow, one vehicle and however many human people can fit in that one vehicle.

Our reservation fees are not meant to be cost prohibitive, this compensation is what allows us to share this land with you. Two Pony People are first and foremost stewards of this earthy place, we appreciate you supporting us in our mission to support the ecosystem, of which we are all a part.

Reservation Slot : Saturday 8/13/22 Tailgater's Meadow 1:00PM - 3:00PM

Once you arrive at Two Pony Gardens please follow the signs to the Tailgater’s Meadow where you'll find a spot and set up your blanket, lawn chairs, etc. There is no infrastructure within the meadow for your use but the fresh air more than makes up. After staking your claim you can come up as a group, or just send a representative up to the Farm House Front Yard; that is where you'll find the Pizza Tent. Check in there. The Pizza Crew will tell you how long before you'll have pizzas in hand ready to go enjoy back at Tailgater’s Meadow.

THE PIZZAS :

$18 | Red Sauce + 3 Cheese Blend

$20 | Red Sauce + 3 Cheese Blend + Prosciutto

$18 | Green Goddess Pesto + 3 Cheese Blend

$20 | Green Goddess Pesto + 3 Cheese Blend + Prosciutto

Local food from our small farm is the best option for your health and for the health of community and ecosystem as a whole. Our pizzas are made with fresh, small batch, dough that features Sunrise Mill Heritage Flour and is hand mixed within a few hours of hitting the outdoor oven. These pies are about 10-12 inches and feature topping from Two Pony Garden and other small local farms.

YOUR PICNIC SPOT :

When you arrive at Tailgater’s Meadow, get the lay o-the-land. Pick the spot that suits your crew and set up there! Easy as pie! Please enjoy all gardens and friends who are growing with your eyes only, no picking please. Leave no trace, leave things better than you found them.

Word of caution that your group should do a quick study on identifying poison ivy, as it likes the kind of places that human people like. Shady spots under trees! So just beware and know that things like socks with tennis shoes or high boots, tucking pants into socks are all good advice to avoid contact with itchy plants and to avoid ticks. Being outside is amazing and does the body unparalleled good but preparation and preparedness will help your group to have the best time possible.

WHAT TO BRING :

Beverages, side dishes, small yard games, bug spray, sunscreen, water, lawn chairs, picnic blankets, anything you'll want to enjoy a few hours of fun outside! Plus a bag to contain your waste, we are a LEAVE NO TRACE FARM, meaning you are required to pack out all of your waste and trash at the end of your picnic.

WHAT NOT TO BRING :

Not more than ONE VEHICLE. No pets, toys that resemble guns, fireworks, snacks with micro-plastic packaging that will inevitably end up on the ground, etc.

*A note about little ones! It is crucial that parents or any adult who is responsible for children on the farm to have eye on their young ones at all times. This is a working farm full of animals, equipment and dangerous situations can arise at any time if close attention is not paid. Although we do love kids and go out of our way to add to their experience at Two Pony Gardens our staff is not responsible for entertaining or educating your kiddos, please plan accordingly.*

This is a Farm but it is also a home and fortunately for us, Lisa Ringer generously shares it with us. In order to show appreciation we ask that you respect some boundaries. No visitors on-site before scheduled reservations or without communication, no visitors in the Farm House (there is a port-a-potty on-site) and please stay on pathways in the woods and in the gardens. it is NEVER ok to pick wild plants or anything from the gardens without permission and foraging in the Wolsfeld is frowned upon. The woods surrounding our farm is a Scientific and Natural Area and we all need to respect that conservation work by minimally impacting the land.

We want to make sure that you have a great time, that you fill up on pizza but that we also are all taking care of the earth that provides us with the wonderful lives we live! Stewarding this land is our greatest gift and greatest responsibility and we thank you for sharing in this work with us and for supporting our little farm!

Do not forget to add pizzas to this order before checking out!

There is no guarantee that we will be able to add pizzas to your order on the day of the event! (And if we can they will be a premium price.)

We only refund tickets/reservation fees if the weather is not safe as determined by your local authorities! Please check your schedules ahead of time because double booking will not get you a refund.
